Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Sugar
4 Tbsp. Flour
2 Tbsp. Butter
4 Eggs (separated)
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/3 c. Lemon juice & grated rind of lemon
2 c. Milk
Preparation

Soften Butter; add Sugar, Flour, Lemon Juice, Salt, Egg Yolks and Lemon Rind.
Beat together until well blended.
Stir in milk and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into pie shell and bake in moderate oven 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
Then 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
