Boiled Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. raisins
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. cold water
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil all ingredients except last 3 for 5 minutes; let cool completely.
    Add the flour, baking soda and salt.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in loaf pans.
    Can be frozen.
