Wild Rice Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. long grain and wild rice
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cooked chicken (bite size pieces)
    1/3 c. parsley
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cook rice according to directions.
    Saute onion in butter; remove from stove.
    Add chicken broth, half and half, salt, pepper and 1/3 cup flour; stir until smooth.
    Add chicken and rice.
    Pour into greased casserole and top with parsley and slivered almonds. Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
