Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
    2 pkg. yeast
    3 Tbsp. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Stir dry ingredients together.
    Blend in shortening.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand 5 minutes.
    Add to buttermilk, then add buttermilk-yeast mixture to flour.
    Mix well.
    Turn out on board or pastry cloth; roll or pat to desired thickness.
    Cut biscuits; dip in melted butter and place on greased pans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Will keep in refrigerator
    for a week.
