Polish Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    5 large eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. vanilla butternut flavoring
    1 c. nuts
    1 jar maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and salt well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flavoring; beat well.
    Add flour and milk; end with flour.
    Coat cherries with part of flour.
    Fold in nuts and cherries.
    Grease and flour tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 (cold oven) for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
    Do not open oven.
    Remove cake immediately.
