Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn
    1 egg
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. oleo, melted
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. milk (if thick)
Preparation
    Beat egg.
    Add sugar, salt, pepper and oleo.
    Mix flour and baking powder.
    Add to corn; mix well.
    Fry in hot fat on both sides until brown.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Serve at once with syrup.
