John Wayne'S Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans diced green chilies
    1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, coarsely grated
    1 Tbsp. flour
    4 eggs, separated
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, coarsely grated
    tomatoes
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks with milk and flour and season with salt and pepper.
    Beat egg whites until they stand in peaks.
    Fold these into egg yolk mixture.
    In a deep, well-buttered casserole, mix shredded cheese with chilies.
    Pour egg mixture over chilies and ooze it through.
    Place in a preheated oven and bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and place on top of sliced tomatoes or canned tomatoes.
    Return to oven and bake another 30 minutes.
