Potpourri - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. anise seed
    5 Tbsp. whole nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. ground allspice
    1 c. ice cream salt
    5 Tbsp. whole cloves
    5 sticks cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Crush the anise seed with the cloves, using a mortar and pestle.
    Crack the nutmeg with a hammer.
    Break the cinnamon into 1/4 to 1/2-inch pieces.
    Add the remaining ingredients, stirring gently, but well.
    Place in a tightly sealed jar.
