Oreo Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bag Oreos, crushed
    1 1/2 gal. box vanilla ice cream
    1 can chocolate frosting
    1 (16 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Melt butter and add Oreos.
    Place mixture on 9 x 11-inch pan until flat.
    Smooth ice cream for next layer.
    Freeze.
    Before serving, spread frosting over ice cream.
    Spread Cool Whip on top. Serve immediately.
