Light Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1/3 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients over low heat for 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
    Beat until mixture begins to lose its glossiness and pour into buttered dish.
