Sour Cream Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
    1 lb. ground lean beef
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 c. tomato sauce or puree
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. chopped green onions
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles in salted water.
    Rinse in cold water and drain. Brown meat in butter and add salt and pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onions and noodles.
    Alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Begin with noodles and end with meat mix.
    Top with shredded cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese is melted.
