1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter or margarine
1/2 c. white sugar
1 2/3 c. soft flour
3 eggs, separated
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter or margarine.
Blend in flour.
Pat mixture onto greased cookie sheet and bake in moderate (350\u00b0) oven for 15 minutes.
