Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. lard
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. boiling water
    2 pkg. yeast
    flour
Preparation
    Put oats, sugar, lard and salt in a bread mixer.
    Pour over them the boiling water.
    Let cool.
    Add yeast and mix well.
    Add white flour, enough to make stiff ball.
    Turn until ball holds its shape, take 6 to 8 cups flour to start with.
    Add more if needed as dough is sticky after rising.
    Makes 3 loaves, 1 1/2 pounds each.
