Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. flour (heaping)
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. (or more) salt
    1 large onion
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients into a batter.
    Peel and slice onion and separate into rings.
    Dip rings into batter and drop in hot oil right away.
    It's best to make batter ahead and let set a bit. Take fork to handle onion rings and drain on paper toweling; sprinkle with a little salt or seasoned salt.
    Eat soon after.
