Frosty Orange Jell-O - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 11-oz. cans Mandarin orange slices
    2 6-oz. pkgs. Orange jell-o
    4 c. boiling water
    2 pts. orange sherbet
Preparation
    Drain oranges, measuring and reserving liquid.
    In a large serving bowl, add water to liquid to equal 2 c.
    Dissolve jell-o in boiling water.
    Add sherbet by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
    Add measured liquid.
    Add Mandarin oranges.
    Chill until set.
    Makes about 10 c. or 16 servings.
