Creamed Tomato Bisque Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. carrots, chopped
1/3 c. flour
2 c. canned tomatoes, drained and chopped
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. each: basil and marjoram
1 bay leaf
4 c. chicken broth
1 pt. cream
1/2 tsp. each: paprika, curry powder and white pepper
salt to taste
Preparation

Saute vegetables in butter.
Add flour and cook 2 minutes. Add ingredients to broth; simmer 30 minutes.
Puree in blender. Add cream and seasonings; serve hot.
Freezes well.
