Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced (approximately 1 lb.)
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (11 oz.) can kernel corn, drained
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can creamed corn
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
    chili powder (for garnish)
Preparation
    Bring potatoes, water and onion to boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring once or twice until potatoes are tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes for flavor to develop.
    Serves 4.
