Chewy Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. brown sugar
2 c. shortening
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
6 c. quick oats

Preparation

Chill overnight.
Make\tinto balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place on
greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
