Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head iceberg lettuce
    1 head leaf lettuce
    4 whole green onions, sliced thin
    2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
    1 c. slithered almonds
    1 Tbsp. butter
    5/6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In small pan saute and stir constantly the almonds, butter and sugar until golden brown.
    Remove and spread out to cool on wax paper.
    In a large bowl mix together all other ingredients; add almonds.
    Serve with red wine vinegar salad dressing.
    Serves 10 to 12.
