Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. cake flour
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla. Add flour. Mix on low until well blended. Stir in pecans. Mix well. Chill for 30 minutes. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes or until bottom edges are golden brown. Cool on a wire rack. Yield: about 1 1/2 dozen.
