Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. dark Karo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Grease sides and bottom of pan.
    Reserve 2/3 cup cake mix and then combine remaining mix, butter and 1 egg.
    Press into pan thinly and bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Combine remaining mix (2/3 cup), 3 eggs, sugar and vanilla.
    Mix well and pour over the browned crust.
    Sprinkle on nuts and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
