Economy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. boiling water
1 c. raisins
4 Tbsp. lard
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Boil first five ingredients 5 minutes, then let get entirely cool and add remaining ingredients.
Mix and bake in regular cake pan at 325\u00b0 until it tests done.
