Round Steak Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cubed
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3 small onions, sliced
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    clove garlic
    4 medium potatoes, sliced
Preparation
    Coat meat with flour, melt shortening and brown meat.
    Add onions, cook until onions are tender.
    Pour meat into ungreased casserole dish and sprinkle with flour, salt, pepper and garlic. Pour 2 cups water over, mix and bake for 45 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0, covered.
    Take out of oven, add potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper and return to oven at 450\u00b0, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
