Tomato Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. prepared tomatoes
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 box Sure-Jell
    1 pat oleo
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Scald, peel and chop tomatoes.
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Measure 3 cups into 6 or 8-quart pan.
    Add lemon juice, oleo, Sure-Jell, allspice, cinnamon and cloves.
    Bring to boil.
    Add sugar.
    Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Put in pint jars and seal by inverting jars for 5 minutes.
