Quick And Easy Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (24 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 (2.8 oz. each) cans French fried onions
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown beef with salt, breaking into small pieces.
    Drain.
    In a bowl, mix potatoes, soup, sour cream, cheese, chopped onion and beef.
    Mix well.
    Spread into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    Top with fried onions. Bake 15 minutes more or until bubbly.
    Makes 8 servings of about 555 calories each.
