Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    7/8 gal. Red Top milk
Preparation
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add sugar and part of milk and heat on stove.
    Add rest of milk.
    Stir constantly until thickens.
    Take off stove.
    Put in a pan of water to speed cooling.
    Add vanilla. When cool, pour through cheesecloth.
    Keep chilled until ready to serve.
