Chili Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can chili hot beans
    1 can light red kidney beans
    1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. chili powder or to taste
    1/4 to 1/2 c. catsup
    1 to 1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground chuck in skillet.
    In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients.
    Bring to a rolling boil.
    Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 1 hour.
    (Add additional water if more broth is desired or to keep from sticking.) Top with shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, if desired.
