Famous Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. chopped pecan meats
    3 eggs
    1/8 lb. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt (scant)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add salt, well beaten eggs, syrup and chopped nut meats.
    Mix well.
    Bake in 9-inch raw pastry shell for 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
