Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. cukes, sliced thin
3 onions, sliced
5 c. sugar
3 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. pickling spice
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
-
Bring sugar, vinegar and spices to a hard boil. Add the cukes and the onions.
Let mixture boil until the cukes change color. Put in jars and seal.
