Fried Rice With Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    6 slices bacon, cut in eighths
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce (low-salt)
Preparation
    Prepare rice.
    In wok or skillet, saute bacon. Drain on paper and cut into pieces.
    In 1/4 cup drippings, saute mushrooms and onions until onions are glassy.
    Add rice.
    Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Pull rice to sides.
    In middle, pour egg and scramble. Add water chestnuts, bacon and soy sauce.
    Stir-fry until all is warm and mixed.
    Makes 4 servings.
