Apple Dumpling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sliced apples
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    7 to 8 Tbsp. butter flavor Crisco
    sugar
Preparation
    Take a small handful of dough and roll thin, 6 to 8 inches wide. Put 1/2 cup cut up apples in center of dough, dab of butter in center and sprinkle cinnamon and 1/8 cup sugar.
    Fold dough over top of apples. Paint with Crisco; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
