Quickie Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 can cream soup (chicken, celery, etc.)
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/3 c. onion, minced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar
    2 c. crushed cereal (e.g. corn flakes, Rice Krispies)
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix first 7 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Pour in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Top with cereal, then pour over melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until bubbly in center.
    Serves 10 to 12.
