Cherry Cornbread(Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 13 x 9 1/2 x 2-inch pan.
    Blend all dry ingredients.
    Add butter, eggs and milk.
    Stir until mixed well.
    Put into pan.
    Spoon pie filling on top, leaving space between spoonfuls.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Drizzle powdered sugar frosting on top while still warm.
