Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the sugar, water and corn syrup. When mixture forms wispy threads when dropped from spoon, start pouring into egg whites, 1/4 at a time.
    Don't scrape pan.
    Beat with wooden spoon until it forms peaks.
    Make it take air. Will turn from glossy to a dull shine. Drop onto wax paper. Should have stiff peaks on top.
    When firm, transfer to plate and cover.
    Do not try this on a humid day.
