Martha Pafford'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
    Cream the sugar and shortening; add eggs and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Add flour one cup at a time. Knead small amounts of dough until stiff; cut at desired thickness.
    (Roll out with a rolling pin before cutting.)
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    bake until brown.
