Cream Of Corn Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. canned corn, drained
1/2 c. water
1 slice onion
2 slices bacon, diced
2 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation

In blender, puree corn and onion with water.
Set aside.
In a heavy saucepan, cook bacon.
Remove pan from heat and add flour and pepper.
Stir into bacon fat.
Gradually add hot milk and return to heat.
Cook over medium heat until thickened.
Add corn and onion mixture; heat to serving temperature.
