Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. thick, sweetened applesauce

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in egg.
Add nuts and raisins. Sift flour, cinnamon and cloves.
Stir into butter mixture.
Last, add applesauce which has been heated.
