Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft shortening (part butter)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. plain flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Combine remaining ingredients.
Roll into small balls.
Roll in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
