Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage, grated
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
-
Mix sugar, vinegar, Wesson oil, mustard, celery seed, salt and turmeric.
Bring to rolling boil; pour over cabbage, onion and pepper.
Let stand for several hours before serving.
Keeps for several days in refrigerator.
