Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 box light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat the first 2 ingredients on low heat.
    Add others in order.
    Pour into two 8-inch square pans greased with butter and floured.
    Bake for 30 or 40 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Cool just a little; cut into squares.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
