Pork Chops With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pork chops (1 to 1 1/2-inch thick)
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. diced pimentos
    hot water
Preparation
    Brown chops.
    Spread rice in bottom of pan.
    Sprinkle soup mix over top.
    Save a little for top of chops.
    Also spread mushrooms and pimento on top of rice.
    Add 3 cups liquid, hot water and juice from mushrooms.
    Place chops on top of rice.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Remove foil.
    Bake 10 minutes longer.
