Bacon And Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 slices thick-sliced bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cans cannellini beans (14 1/2 oz. each)
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
3 to 4 cans chicken stock
sage
cayenne pepper
salt to taste
Preparation

In a large pan (stock pot), saute bacon until cooked through and crisp.
Add onion and cook until onion is tender.
Add stock and cook until hot.
Drain and rinse beans.
Add to mixture.
Add cabbage and cook until cabbage is tender.
Add sage and cayenne to taste.
