Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pt. rich cream
    1 pt. milk
    1 pt. whiskey
    1 oz. rum
Preparation
    Beat separately the yolks and whites of eggs.
    Add sugar to yolks while beating, 1/4 cup sugar whites after they've been stiffly beaten.
    Mix whites and yolks.
    Stir in cream and milk. Then add whiskey and rum.
    Stir thoroughly and serve very cold with grated nutmeg on each cup.
    Yields 5 pints of egg nog.
