Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. raw regular rice
Preparation
    Brown beef in skillet.
    Add onions and green pepper.
    Cook until tender.
    Drain fat and add tomatoes and seasoning.
    Bring to boil.
    Stir in rice, cover and simmer 30 to 35 minutes.
