Butterfinger Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    angel food cake
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. powdered sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 beaten egg yolks
    1 small Cool Whip
    crushed Butterfinger bar
    nuts
Preparation
    Cut angel food cake into slices to cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Make filling in small saucepan; butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and egg yolks.
    Cook through but do not boil.
    Stir constantly.
    Set aside to cool.
