Baked Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 medium sweet potatoes
4 medium apples
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Pare and slice potatoes.
Core and slice apples.
Layer in
a buttered
casserole.
Combine
remaining ingredients in saucepan; heat
until
sugar\tis
dissolved.\tPour syrup over apples and potatoes.
Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour, or until potatoes are done.
Good served with ham.
