Chocolate Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine or butter
    3 c. granulated sugar
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    pinch of salt
    13 oz. can evaporated milk
Preparation
    In a double boiler over boiling water, place margarine, sugar, salt and cocoa.
    Cook until margarine is melted.
    Add 1/4 cup of the milk.
    Continue cooking until sugar is almost melted. Stirring constantly, add remainder of milk.
    Cook until smooth and silky.
    Use hot as for hot fudge sundaes or chill in refrigerator for later use.
    Makes about 2 cups of sauce.
