Grandmother'S Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. green bell peppers
    1 doz. red bell peppers
    3 large onions
    boiling water
    2 pt. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop onions and peppers in large pan. Cover with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes then drain. Cover again with boiling water; let stand 10 minutes, then drain well. Mix together vinegar, sugar and salt. Pour over pepper mixture; cook for 15 minutes. Pack in jars while hot and seal. Makes approximately 6 pints.
