Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
Set aside. Combine butter and sugar in saucepan.
Heat until both are melted. Remove from heat.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix well.
Add nuts and flour mixture.
Mix until well blended.
Spoon into a greased 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done. Cut into squares while still warm.
