Pecan Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. soft butter
dash of salt
2/3 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Let cream cheese and butter come to room temperature.
Mix flour, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, cream cheese and butter. Refrigerate about 1 hour.
Remove dough from refrigerator; pinch into 1-inch balls.
Drop into 1-inch muffin tins and press on bottom and up sides of the tiny muffin tins.
Mix other ingredients.
Pour into little shells.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
Yields 24.
Goes well with ice cream.
